PING EV Terms of Service

Welcome to PING EV.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PING EV website, mobile applications and related services (together, the “Platform”).

PING EV is an electric vehicle (EV) charging platform that helps users discover charging stations, view charger availability, make reservations, use supported payment features and access other participating charging services.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to any policies referred to in them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to drivers and other users of the Platform. Separate agreements or additional terms may apply to charge point operators (CPOs), business partners and other service providers.

In these Terms:

• “PING EV”, “we”, “us” or “our” means the PING EV platform and the person or entity that lawfully operates it.
• “User”, “you” or “your” means any person who accesses or uses the Platform.
• “Platform” means the PING EV website, mobile applications and associated digital services.
• “Charging Station” means a physical location where EV charging equipment is made available.
• “Charger” means an individual EV charging unit or connector listed on, or integrated with, the Platform.
• “CPO” means a charge point operator: a person or business that owns, operates, hosts or manages a charging station or charging location.
• “Charging Session” means an EV charging service started at a participating charger.
• “PING Wallet” means the wallet or balance feature made available through the Platform, subject to its own terms and payment arrangements.
• “Reservation” means a booking request, or a confirmed booking, for a charging service where the feature is supported.
• “Third-Party Provider” means an independent business or service provider involved in delivering charging, payment, mapping, connectivity or other services.

Depending on the features available to you, PING EV provides digital tools that let you:

• Discover EV charging stations on a map.
• View station details, connector information, charging power, pricing and other information, where available.
• Check charger status and reported availability, where supported.
• Reserve charging sessions at participating stations where reservations are enabled.
• Use PING Wallet and other supported payment features.
• Access charging-session information and transaction history, where available.
• Use navigation, notifications, customer support and other features as they are introduced.

Which features are available depends on your location, the station, how the charger is integrated, whether the operator participates, technical capabilities and the version of the Platform you are using.

We may introduce, change, suspend or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and any commitments we have already made.

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating or using an account.

Where you need to register an account, you agree to:

1. 1Provide truthful information and keep it up to date.
2. 2Keep your login credentials, verification codes and account access secure.
3. 3Not share your account or allow anyone else to access it without authorisation.
4. 4Tell PING EV through an available support channel if you suspect unauthorised access or activity.
5. 5Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for activity carried out through your account. This does not make you responsible for transactions shown to result from unauthorised access where the law or the applicable payment arrangements provide otherwise.

We may ask for additional verification when reasonably necessary for account security, fraud prevention, payment processing or legal compliance.

We may restrict or suspend an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, a security risk or a material breach of these Terms.

PING EV may display station details and charger status received from connected chargers, CPOs or other information providers.

Depending on how a station is integrated, status information may show whether a charger is available, occupied, charging, offline or otherwise unavailable.

5.1 Accuracy and freshness of information

We aim to provide useful and timely information. However, charger status and station information can be affected by:

• Delays in receiving status updates.
• Internet or charger connectivity failures.
• Incorrect or incomplete operator information.
• Unexpected charging activity or changes in station occupancy.
• Power outages, maintenance, equipment faults or other operational issues.

Where available, the Platform may show when a charger’s status was last updated. A charger shown as available is not guaranteed to still be available when you arrive.

5.2 Station details and pricing

Connector types, charging power, opening hours, prices, access restrictions and other station details may vary. Please review the information shown before travelling or starting a charging session.

Where pricing is shown, please review the price and any fees before confirming a charge or reservation.

5.3 No guarantee of availability

Unless PING EV expressly confirms a specific commitment, the fact that a station or charger is listed does not guarantee that it is working, accessible, compatible with your vehicle or available when you arrive.

Nothing in this section excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where reservations are supported, you may be able to request or book a charging slot at a participating station.

6.1 Reservation confirmation

A reservation is confirmed only when the Platform shows that the booking has been successfully confirmed. A pending request or a failed payment is not a confirmed reservation unless the Platform expressly says otherwise.

The reservation details may set out the station, charger, time slot, fees, cancellation conditions and any other restrictions.

6.2 Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Review the reservation details before confirming.
• Arrive within the reservation window.
• Follow the station’s access and safety instructions.
• Use the charger and connector appropriately.
• Follow any late-arrival, grace-period or no-show rules shown to you.

A reservation does not entitle you to occupy a charger beyond the reserved period, or to prevent other users from using the station outside your confirmed booking.

6.3 Cancellations and changes

Changes and cancellations are subject to the conditions shown when you make the booking and to the PING EV Refund & Cancellation Policy: pingev.com.pk/refunds

Any cancellation fees, non-refundable charges or deadlines will be shown to you before you confirm the reservation, subject to applicable law.

6.4 Cancellation by a station or operator

If a CPO cannot honour a confirmed reservation, PING EV may help communicate the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Any eligible refund or wallet adjustment will be handled under the applicable payment arrangements and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Charging sessions use physical equipment that is operated or made available by participating CPOs.

You are responsible for:

1. 1Making sure your vehicle is suitable for the selected charger and connector.
2. 2Following your vehicle manufacturer’s charging instructions.
3. 3Following the safety instructions and signage at the station.
4. 4Using charging equipment only as intended.
5. 5Stopping use and reporting any apparent damage, unsafe conditions or equipment faults.
6. 6Complying with station access rules and reasonable instructions from authorised personnel.

Do not attempt to repair, modify, tamper with or bypass charging equipment, safety systems, access controls or payment mechanisms.

Remote start, remote stop, charger unlocking, RFID access and charging-session monitoring are available only where the relevant charger and Platform integration explicitly support them.

The Platform is not a substitute for on-site safety instructions, vehicle guidance or emergency procedures.

PING EV may provide wallet and payment features for eligible charging services and other supported transactions.

Use of PING Wallet is subject to the PING Wallet terms, the payment arrangements in place and applicable law.

8.1 Wallet funding

Available funding methods, minimum or maximum amounts, processing times and transaction restrictions will be shown in the Platform or in the relevant payment flow, where applicable.

Submitting a payment instruction does not by itself mean the payment is complete. Please check the transaction status and your wallet balance.

8.2 Permitted use

PING Wallet may be used only for services and transactions that the Platform expressly supports.

Wallet balances must not be used for unlawful purposes, fraudulent transactions or attempts to bypass payment controls.

Any restrictions on transfers, cash withdrawals, refunds or redemption will be set out in the PING Wallet terms and applied in line with applicable law.

8.3 Charging payments

Charging prices, reservation fees, service fees and other charges will be shown, where required, before you confirm the relevant transaction.

When you confirm a payment in the Platform, you authorise the corresponding payment or wallet transaction, subject to the relevant transaction flow and payment terms.

The final amount may depend on the charging service actually delivered, the applicable tariff, the energy consumed, the session duration and any other charges shown before use.

8.4 Failed, duplicate or incorrect transactions

If a payment is deducted incorrectly, a top-up is not credited or a duplicate transaction appears, please report it through an available PING EV support channel.

We may review transaction records, charging-session information and payment-provider records to investigate the issue.

Verified errors will be resolved through an appropriate correction, reversal, wallet adjustment or refund, subject to the payment arrangement and applicable law.

8.5 Third-party payment providers

Payments may involve banks, payment gateways or other payment service providers, whose services may be subject to their own terms and procedures.

PING EV will meet its responsibilities under the applicable payment arrangements and the law. The involvement of a third-party provider does not, by itself, remove any obligation PING EV owes to you.

8.6 Refunds

Refund eligibility, reservation cancellation rules, processing procedures and other refund conditions are described in the PING EV Refund & Cancellation Policy (https://pingev.com.pk/refunds) and in any applicable wallet terms.

Nothing in these Terms overrides a mandatory legal right to a refund or other remedy.

Charging stations listed on PING EV may be operated by independent CPOs.

Depending on the service arrangement, CPOs may be responsible for physical station access, equipment maintenance, electricity supply, charging operations, on-site safety and the accuracy of the information they provide.

Where supported, PING EV may facilitate discovery, reservations, payments, communications or charger management. PING EV’s specific role in a transaction depends on the service actually provided and the relevant agreements.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, listing a station does not mean that PING EV owns, operates or directly maintains the physical charging equipment.

Please report station-related issues through the Platform’s support channels so they can be reviewed and, where appropriate, passed to the responsible operator.

Separate CPO agreements may govern operator onboarding, station data, service standards, pricing, commissions, settlements, maintenance and other commercial matters.

The Platform may rely on, or link to, third-party services such as mapping, navigation, connectivity, payment, messaging and charging-infrastructure systems.

These services may have their own terms, privacy practices, technical limitations and availability conditions.

We do not control every aspect of third-party services. However, this does not exclude responsibilities PING EV has under applicable law or under agreements for services it provides.

A link to a third-party service does not, by itself, mean that PING EV endorses every product, service or statement of that provider.

You agree not to:

1. 1Use the Platform for unlawful activity, fraud or misrepresentation.
2. 2Provide false information or impersonate another person.
3. 3Access another user’s account without authorisation.
4. 4Interfere with the Platform’s security, availability or proper operation.
5. 5Attempt to bypass authentication, payment controls, reservation rules or charger access restrictions.
6. 6Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where applicable law permits it.
7. 7Use automated scraping or similar tools to collect Platform data without authorisation.
8. 8Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access to systems, APIs, chargers or networks.
9. 9Submit fraudulent reviews, manipulate ratings or misuse referral or promotional benefits.
10. 10Damage, misuse or tamper with physical charging equipment.
11. 11Infringe intellectual property rights or violate the rights of other users, operators or third parties.

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including limiting features, suspending an account, cancelling a transaction where the law allows, or reporting suspected unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.

Where the Platform allows reviews, ratings, feedback or other submissions, you are responsible for the content you submit.

You agree that your submissions will not be unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive or misleading, and will not infringe anyone else’s rights.

You grant PING EV a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and process your feedback and submissions as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, support and promote the relevant Platform services, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to PING EV.

We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or applicable law.

The PING EV name, logos, branding, website design, software and other Platform materials are owned by, or licensed to, the relevant rights holders.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes.

You may not copy, distribute, commercially exploit, modify or create derivative works from Platform materials, except where expressly authorised or permitted by applicable law.

Third-party trademarks, logos and content remain the property of their respective owners.

How we collect and use personal information is described in the PING EV Privacy Policy: pingev.com.pk/privacy

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the Platform may process information such as account details, location data, reservation information, payment records, charging-session records and device or technical information.

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how information is handled, what it is used for and the choices and rights available to you.

We aim to keep the Platform useful and accessible, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

The Platform, or particular features, may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, connectivity issues, system failures, cybersecurity incidents, third-party outages or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may change or discontinue features as the Platform develops. Where a change materially affects a paid service, a confirmed reservation or another existing commitment, we will deal with it in line with the applicable terms and the law.

We take reasonable measures to keep the Platform secure and working properly, but no online service can be guaranteed to be entirely free of errors or security risks.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Where account deletion is available, you may request it through the in-app or website process.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

• A material breach of these Terms.
• Suspected fraud, abuse or unlawful activity.
• Security or safety risks.
• A legal or regulatory requirement.
• Misuse of payments, reservations, wallet features or charging equipment.

Where appropriate and lawful, we may give you notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

Suspension or termination does not automatically cancel outstanding payment obligations, valid claims or rights that have already accrued. Any remaining wallet balance, pending refund or confirmed reservation will be handled under the applicable terms and the law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided subject to its stated features, limitations and availability conditions.

We do not guarantee that every listed station will be working, that live charger status will always be current, or that a third-party operator will always provide uninterrupted service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to disclaim.

Subject to the above, PING EV is not responsible for loss arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control, such as third-party network outages or inaccurate information supplied by an independent provider, except to the extent that the loss results from a responsibility or legal obligation of PING EV.

Nothing in this section removes any responsibility PING EV has under applicable law for its own services, payment handling, representations or conduct.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for reasonable losses or costs arising directly from your unlawful use of the Platform, fraud, deliberate misuse or material breach of these Terms.

This section does not require you to indemnify PING EV for losses caused by PING EV’s own unlawful conduct, by negligence where liability cannot be excluded, or by other matters for which you cannot lawfully be held responsible.

These Terms apply to PING EV services offered in Pakistan and are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, subject to any mandatory legal protections available to users.

If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact PING EV first through an available support channel so we can review the issue.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be referred to the competent courts or another dispute-resolution forum, as permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising a statutory right to approach a competent regulator, consumer court, other court or authority where the law permits.

We may update these Terms as our services, business arrangements or legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on the PING EV website with an updated effective date.

Where a change materially affects users or requires their consent under applicable law, we will give notice or obtain consent as required.

Where permitted by applicable law, continuing to use the Platform after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance of them.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with any feature-specific terms and policies, govern your use of the Platform and, to the extent permitted by law, replace any earlier understandings on the same subject.

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, joint venture or agency relationship between PING EV and a user merely because the user accesses or uses the Platform.
